My explanation for it as someone who flip flops between toys being possessed and the toys not being possessed is that it's the security program in the toys, the toys are programmed to take care of criminals, the other possessed animatronics such as the puppet could be the reason why instead of just stopping the criminals they attack them.FNaF 2 Night 1 - 5.
