I have the CX6500XK connected via cat6a to my udm pro using the Ubiquiti SFP+ port and adapter (UACC-CM-RJ45-MG.) The CX is in transparent bridge mode and only worked at 10g speeds on my udm pro with the Ubiquiti brand adapter. Other brand sfp+ didn't work. The 10g break you mentioned is for the udm specifically and not because of the CX.You said you have fiber. I’ve got Centurylink dsl, so not familiar with how they do their fiber termination. But you should be able to use basically any ethernet device. What am I missing? Why would you want a dsl modem at all? You do want a firewall and if you put that thing in transparent bridging mode, you disable a lot of its value.I want to install my own router and wanted to make sure I understand the process of placing the network in transparent bridging mode, to avoid a double-NAT situation. Few Notes: Select By VLAN Tag if available and then change the ID from default value of 10 to 201. When you change the C3000Z to transparent bridge mode the default value is tagged 201 as well.
