So I think you just have number 681l (that is an "L" but the German letters were in lower case). For 1942, there would have been a 681, 681a, 681b, etc. I have the same Luger as you with the holster,take down tool & both fxo mags. Would not take less than 2500 for mine.It's what collectors commonly call a "double date" Luger. It was made in 1918 for issue to the Imperial German Army and later stamped 1920 to identify it as government property of the Weimar Republic. I do not see any markings to suggest that it was captured by the Russians but it has "Bullseye" grips that are of East German origin.

This would be the only known example of a gfg 1944 holster if it was 1944. I think it might be, as others have written, a 1941 dated holster. The markings suggest 1941 and the only P.08 holsters known to me from 1944 are the cdg/4 holsters which are not WaA inspector marked nor are they marked "P.08".
