In a better version of the Okumura dungeon, the first mini boss of the dungeon would have had a mechanic where you were reminded to baton pass to raise the damage to nuke a single enemy before a turn count was up. Then that would have been reinforced through the dungeon until you reach Okumura.I am struggling hard with this boss battle. I get to the green guys and it's it is just neverending. I've grinded hella and I've been using Haru, Makoto, and Ann throughout this. Is there a better combo? Haru for psi, Makoto because I gave her the gluttony ring, and Ann because she can debuff the whole enemy line. I also have mapsio for joker.1. Destroy all foes in one or two turns hitting their weaknesses with all-foes spells. 2. If their defense is raised, decrease it. 3. Assemble items that deal damage of an element. Use them, baton pass, and the last baton pass goes to the party member with an all target spell that hit the weakness. #2.2nd Turn: Member 2 uses the other from Member 1. 3rd Turn: Member 3 attacks the weakness of 1 enemy. Okumura. Apparently, he was a shit-boss in the original Persona 5, and then they came back and re-tooled him and made him even more of an SB. The Okumura boss fight can be considered the hardest boss in the game. I had to. search up a guide myself, but here's what I learned: Your party will need Ryuji, Makoto and Haru. If a healer is needed, swap in. Morgana, as he has the best healing magic in the game. Joker will need a persona who can deal PSI damage (Psio and Mapsio, no or).The fight is easiest in merciless. Personally, I didn't have much problem, if at all, with any of bosses in P5/P5R, including Okumura. Granted I only beat him in Normal difficulty and I was around lvl 40-45. My only DLC persona was Izanagi Picaro at around lvl 43 I think.
