Difference between pf63 and pf63e
South. Oct 30, 2023. #1. I did several searches and can’t come up with a prior post regarding the latest specs for the PF63. I was under the impression that Delco discontinued the PF63E and the PF64 was the replacement. Even the Delco parts lookup for my 2017 GMC 5.3 shows the PF63 currently and no longer displays the PF64.On my wifes new 2015 GMC Terrain DENALI with the 3.6 the Wix filter is the 57045 which replaces a AC PF63, it is longer than the PF63 and PF63E, I use the 57045 on my 2008 Malibu LTZ with the 3.6 also, only advantage to a longer filter is increased oil capacity and filter media.

Just confusing and doesn't make sense to me on this PF63 - Pf63e difference. Bypass setting on UPF63R is 36psi. The bypass setting on the PF63E is 22psi. So, I WOULD NOT USE the PF63E. ACDelco Parts.What’s the difference between AC Delco PF63 and PF63E? PF63 is the regular filter. PF63E is the Ecore filter which is easier to recycle, supposedly its garbage. PF63F is fleet packaging filter, meaning 12 filters in a package.
