I do not recommend min/maxing str or mag for an MK, as the optimal fighting style requires an in-your-face attack and evasion that really needs DEF and MDEF, which is the min/ side of the max MAG or STR.From end game backwards: In BBI you can get the Diabolic Shield which is the absolute best. Is the link to the wiki page on it here. The Angel's Sanctum can be obtained from Caxton after beating the dragon and it's solid. But if you beat the dragon as a Mystic Knight you'll probably have the Dragons Faith which you might prefer.

If you wanna play MK, the best build to go with is *gasp* lvl 10-200 Mystic Knight. It doesn't make much difference in the end, at level 200 you're so overpowered you're not gonna care anyway.
