I've found Cura tree supports to be completely unsuitable for the complex shapes I'm trying to print whereas Prusa Slicer's basic supports have worked great for me pretty much all the time. Cura had one version with tree supports that are comparable to Prusa's organic ones. It was the 5.3.0 Alpha + Xmas (or a title very similar to that). I used it with an ender 3 V2 which I promptly had to return becuase its a shit machine. Now use a prusa mini with Prusa Slicer, and noticed the supports do stick harder than when sliced using Cura.
