All serial numbers are matching (with the exception of the magazine). However, I can find no markings on the inside of the wood grips. The left grip has some damage to it (missing some wood at the top of the grip on both sides) and overall, both wood grips are well worn. ... The mark on your Luger doesn't follow military directives either. My best guess is a post war Weimar era mark, possibly police or para-military but not likely military.Under the barrel serial number is the gauge markings 8.82 measuring the distance between the lands. It is a byf but has no marking above the chamber. It has a matching frame, barrel and upper. It also doesnt have the P.08 stamped on the frame by the safety.
