I thought they came with the 3970010 blocks. The seller swears that he has had many 1970 Z's with the 3970014 blocks, and they are original. My books show the 3970014 was used in a 70 camaro but ...So it turns out the block is a casting number 3970014 and the heads are 3973487. Both block and heads have the same date codes. The block and heads have never been rebuilt or seperated, wondering if this is a decent starting point to build a 350hp motor ? the guy is wanting $400 for it, nothing else except inlet manifold with it.
